On Sunday the 24th September the Foy Centre played
host to the Irish mountain Bike Championship held under the auspice of
Cycling Ireland.
Over 100 competitors took part in the event which was
organised by the Cuchullainn and Apollo Cycling Clubs.
The Foy Centre
which served as the event centre is becoming the venue of choice for an
increasing number of outdoor events having already hosted the Bull-Run and
the National Orienteering Championships.
